Border Security

Over the last three years, we have all seen and heard of the dangers of having an unsecured border. Millions of people are illegally flooding into our country, not only from counties south of our border, but from countries, such as China, Russia, Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon. The dangers of a possible terrorist attack on the American people is ever increasing. We have seen thousands of American citizens die from fentanyl that is pouring in across our southern border. We are also experiencing an all-time high in the human trafficking of women and children in the sex trade, a crime on humanity itself. Wyoming is not immune from the effects of this influx of illegal immigrants. The problems that are occurring in other cities as a result of current border policies must be anticipated and dealt with here if we do not want them to become long term and unsolvable. The borders to the north and south of the United States need to be secured and the pathway to legal immigration streamlined.
