I would like to thank you for reaching out to me and for this opportunity. I believe it is important to be transparent and therefore I will be posting your question and my answer on my website in order to allow the voters to get the full context of my answer.
As I campaigned door to door during the primary, what I heard over and over was the dissatisfaction in the representation voters received from my incumbent opponent. I ran on a platform of strongly supporting the 2nd Amendment, the right of each citizen to keep and bear arms, of private property rights and the freedom of people to worship as they see fit. I also believe in fiscal responsibility; it is important that our schools and services be fully funded. However, it is also important that this be done with as little burden on the people as possible. We must be good stewards of the people’s money. Overtaxing and wasting the people’s money is not only wrong, it is immoral. I talked about these principles with the people throughout House District 41 and they agreed with me. I believe that these are ideas that Democrat and Independent voters in my District would also agree are best for Wyoming.
As the Representative of the people of House District 41, I will follow the United States and Wyoming Constitutions.
